WHAT DO YOU DO MARIE?
I am working on the social media side of Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group. I basically create all the content we share on Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
HOW DID YOU END UP WORKING AT ROTHERAM CARRINGTON RECRUITMENT GROUP?
After I finished my Master’s degree at Chester University, I wanted to work on social media and started looking for a role in this sector. I applied for the position at Rotheram Carrington and instantly loved Amy and Sarah!
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
I am absolutely passionate about everything you can find on the internet, especially on social media. A small business can just post the right thing and suddenly become massive, a normal person can record one funny TikTok and become an influencer. I love the audience and visibility it can bring to a business and love to learn how to adapt to algorithms or what people are interested in.
WHAT’S THE BEST BIT ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I love the creative side of working on social media. Creating designs really appeases me and it is calm work that I really enjoy doing.
WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF WORK ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?
Everything takes time and it is better to create a realistic strategy in the long term.

Rotheram Carrington has an amazing team with recruiters working really hard to find the right match for each candidate and client. Sarah, Amy and Amalia are so dedicated and if I was looking for work, I know that I would be in good hands!
