Sarah Rotheram has spent over 20 years building a career in financial recruitment, specialising in Temporary & Permanent Senior Finance and Qualified Accounting appointments across Chester, Cheshire, North Wales, the Wirral and Merseyside.

 

Throughout her career, Sarah has worked for two of the UK’s leading multinational finance recruitment organisations, developing extensive market knowledge across the North West and Central London.  Over the years, she has seen first-hand how the right opportunity can genuinely change someone’s life whether that’s helping a candidate progress their career, improve their work-life balance, regain confidence after redundancy, or simply find a role and company where they truly feel valued and happy.

That passion for making a real difference is what continues to drive Sarah today.

Sarah specialises in senior finance and leadership recruitment across commerce, industry and the not-for-profit sector, partnering with organisations ranging from blue-chip corporates and international businesses to local SMEs. She takes pride in building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, taking the time to understand not just the technical requirements of a role, but the personalities, ambitions and culture fit behind every successful placement.

After spending two decades within large corporate recruitment environments, Sarah launched her own boutique consultancy to offer a more personal, honest and tailored approach. Combining the professionalism, structure and best practice of larger firms with the flexibility and care of a local specialist recruiter, she is committed to delivering a recruitment service built on trust, integrity and genuine partnership.

Outside of recruitment, Sarah is passionate about health, well being and maintaining a positive work-life balance. When she’s not working with clients and candidates, you will usually find her spending time with her much-loved Labradors, at the gym, practising yoga or Pilates, or generally keeping fit and active. Her energetic and people-focused personality is something that naturally carries through into both her professional and personal life.

Specialist Recruiter in Non-Qualified Finance/Office Support Solutions

Amy Knowles has over 18 years’ experience in placing quality transactional & business support professionals into permanent positions, contract roles and temporary assignments across the private and public sectors. Geographically covering the Chester, North Wales and Cheshire areas.

Amy graduated with a 2:1 in Business Studies at the University of Staffordshire. On leaving University Amy applied for an accounts role with one of the leading multi-national recruitment organisations and instead of getting an accounts role Amy was referred to the internal recruitment team and offered a role as an Associate Recruitment Consultant. 12 years on Amy has trained and developed to management level and achieved significant results for the areas she was responsible for.

Amy is an expert in all areas of Transactional Finance & Office Support recruitment where she has a strong following across the Chester, Wrexham & North Wales areas.

After being employed by a Specialist market leading recruitment company, with a world wide presence, for the duration of her 12 years. Where, she progressed through the ranks, trained and managed teams and built up extensive market knowledge. Now working with Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group, where existing knowledge can be utilised and developed to help support businesses, whilst having the right work life balance for a young family.

Marie Audemard
Social Media Specialist

Marie joined Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group in October 2022. She obtained a 2.1 for her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Journalism while undertaking several internships where she learned how to manage social media platforms, write feature articles, and interview or even film and edit videos. Marie also studied Anthropology for her second bachelor’s degree and Gender Studies for her Master of Research. This gave her a broader understanding of the world and strong writing and research skills.

She moved from France to the United Kingdom in 2020 to learn English and decided recently to take her career to the next level and work as a social media officer for Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group while studying for her phD.

Hannah heads up our learning and development function and is responsible for our talent development. Hannah provides a comprehensive structured training academy for new starters who may be new to recruitment to give you all the right tools to fulfil your potential. Hannah also works with experienced recruiters to provide tailored bespoke coaching sessions to develop your skills

 

Hannah is an ex-recruiter with almost 20 years of experience, the majority of which was working for a market-leading recruiter. Operationally she has extensive experience in both permanent and interim recruitment and growing markets from scratch

 

Hannah has led and developed multiple high-performing teams across several different regions in the UK; and has a strong track record in training and developing high-performing individuals, as well as developing managers and leaders.
