Executive search projects will be delivered by Sarah Rotheram, Founder of Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group – Sarah will handle the entire process. Sarah is a highly experienced Senior Recruiter her background includes working for two of the Top UK & Global Recruitment Firms in the North-West of England & Central London, specialising in Senior Leadership Finance & Exec Appointments. In 2017, Sarah set up Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitment, an independent specialist recruiter in Senior Finance + Accountancy & Finance. Sarah has extensive Senior Finance recruitment experience, and the responsibility of running a well-respected business in the Cheshire area. This combination of experience gained within the North West marketplace, gives Sarah a unique profile and capability in the North West recruitment market.

Our Approach
- We will meet with you to take the brief and to understand your business and requirement in detail.
- We will go to market with a pre-screen process, which involves attracting candidates via a combined approach of:
- Confidential Advertising
- Drawing on our significant candidate database
- Networking – tapping into our network of passive and actively looking candidates
- Targeted search – identifying key individuals/businesses in the North West with relevant experience
- We will design and agree with you a suitable advert to attract the very best candidates for the role and we will field all advert responses and handle all candidate communication.
- We will draw down a long list of approximately 30 people and will pre-screen them all via face-to-face interview, using targeted, pre-screen questions (which we will agree with you in advance) to understand their technical and leadership experience as well as ‘person fit’ with the business culture and requirements of the role.
- We will short list 5 candidates for you to interview. We will provide CVs and a written profile on each candidate detailing their strengths, gaps, fit with the role, aspirations, and potential. We will meet with you to present the short list.
- We will arrange all interviews with you and handle all candidate communication, preparation and feedback.
- Once at offer stage, we will meet with the candidate to make them the offer and to take them through the detail. We will talk them through the scenario of ‘buy-back’ and how they might manage this. We will keep in close communication throughout the candidate’s notice period and advise you on early onboarding to maintain candidate engagement, commitment and overall momentum.
Consultancy Fees
Working on a retained and exclusive basis, the fee percentage will be of the annualised remuneration (without limitation), any bonuses/incentives, car allowance and any guaranteed payments.
- Retainer Fee + VAT retaining fee (non-refundable)
- Short List Fee + VAT shortlist fee (non-refundable)
- Completion Fee + VAT
Advertising costs re-charged (typically £600 per position)
Subject to Standard Terms
Direct / 3rd party approaches to be re-directed to be included in formal process
Extended guarantee period to 6 months should a hire not work out, free replacement only
