HOW DID YOU END UP WORKING AT ROTHERAM CARRINGTON RECRUITMENT GROUP?
After a close associate recommended me, I got a chance to meet with Sarah, who is our Managing Director. During our meetings, Sarah explained the history of Rotheram Carrington and what kind of services they provide in the Finance and HR recruitment sector. After having several meetings with Sarah, I was thrilled when she made me an offer to join the team at Rotheram Carrington to head up our HR division.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
The underlying motivation that drives me lies in the ability to identify and recruit the most fitting candidate for a given role, ensuring that they possess the competencies necessary to meet the client’s specific requirements. In doing so, it brings me immense satisfaction to see both parties content and fulfilled, with their needs adequately addressed and satisfied. This, I believe, is an integral component of my work ethic and one that I hold in utmost regard.
WHAT’S THE BEST BIT ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I find great satisfaction in networking with individuals and discovering their specific business requirements. By doing so, I can source the ideal candidate who not only meets their needs but also provides an excellent career opportunity for the candidate. It’s a fulfilling process that I get great job satisfaction from.
WHAT IS YOUR PET HATE IN BUSINESS?
Bad customer service. It’s one of my pet peeves in business. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re not valued as a customer.

For me, winning a top achiever award at Smith Nephew was one such moment that instilled a feeling of pride and motivated me to continue to strive for excellence.
