I specialise in the recruitment of office support roles.

HOW DID YOU END UP WORKING AT ROTHERAM CARRINGTON RECRUITMENT GROUP?

I started my career in recruitment almost 2 years ago and after working for a generalist recruitment agency and enjoying my time there, I decided it was time to progress and join a specialist recruitment agency that would give me the room to grow and further develop my competences.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

What motivates me is learning new things, acquiring new skills, meeting deadlines, goals and targets, improving processes, finding ways to solving problems, being a part of a team, overcoming challenges, coming up with creative ideas and at Rotheram Carrington I had the platform for all these and all the support to make the best out of every challenge.

WHAT’S THE BEST BIT ABOUT YOUR JOB?

The best thing about my job is the variety of characters (both clients and candidates) I have the opportunity to work with on a daily basis and this often brings the most unexpected situations which lead to amazing new skills acquired on my end.

WHAT IS YOUR PET HATE IN BUSINESS?

The biggest pet peeve of all recruitment consultants: candidates who accept a counteroffer. This is just so frustrating for recruitment consultants, and it happens all the time. It basically amounts to a complete waste of our time, energy and resources. I would say fair enough, if your current company surprisingly offers you a salary increase to get you to stay – although you should really consider why you wanted to leave in the first place – are you happy?
